Terms of Service
The agreement between you and FPLMan. Written to be read, not to be impressive.

Accepting these terms
By using FPLMan or creating an account you accept these terms and our privacy policy. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
FPLMan is operated by an independent solo developer. Everything in these terms is between you and that operator, reachable at support@fplman.com.
You need to be at least 16 to have an account. If you are under 18, you should have your parent or guardian's permission before buying anything.
What FPLMan is
FPLMan is an information and planning tool for Fantasy Premier League managers. It provides statistics, player projections, captain suggestions, transfer suggestions, a multi-gameweek transfer planner, chip guidance, fixture information and score predictions, summaries of FPL podcasts and football news, automatic squad synchronisation from your FPL manager ID, and deadline-day email briefings.
Features are split between a Free tier and Pro. Which is which is listed on the pricing page, and it can change as the product changes.
No guarantee of results
Projections, predictions, suggestions and verdicts are estimates built from past data. Football is not predictable and neither is Fantasy Premier League. FPLMan does not guarantee points, overall or league rank, that a suggested transfer will work out, that a captain will return, that a price change will happen, or that any particular player will be fit, selected or available.
Information on the site may also be delayed, incomplete or wrong — it depends on third-party data that can be late or inaccurate, and on our own models, which are approximations. Check anything that matters against the official FPL site before you act on it.
Nothing on FPLMan is financial, investment, betting or professional advice, and it is not intended for gambling.
Your free gameweeks
A new account gets full Pro access for its first 4 Premier League gameweeks. No payment card is required, and no card details are collected.
The details, because they matter:
- The period is measured in gameweeks, not weeks. It starts with the next gameweek still to be played when you register, and a gameweek only counts as used once every one of its fixtures has been played. A postponed match therefore holds the gameweek open rather than costing you it.
- It is granted once, when the account is created. It cannot be restarted, and it is one per email address — signing up again with an address that has already had it does not start a new one, even if the earlier account was deleted.
- If you register near the end of a season you get what is left of it rather than a window running into the summer, so a late signup can be shorter. If you register once the season is over, the gameweeks are taken from the start of the next one.
- When the gameweeks have been played, the account simply returns to the Free tier. Nothing converts into a paid plan, no card is charged, and there is nothing to cancel.
We may change or withdraw this offer for new signups at any time. That does not affect a free period already running on your account.
The Season Pass
Full Season Pass
The Full Season Pass costs €9.99 and is a one-time purchase. It unlocks the Pro features for the rest of the 2026/27 season, and access ends on 30 June 2027.
- It does not renew automatically, and you will never be charged again unless you deliberately buy another pass.
- There is nothing to cancel, because buying it does not create a recurring billing agreement.
- It covers the season it was sold for. It does not buy access to any future season — a pass for a later season is a separate purchase that only you can make.
Prices are shown in euros. Depending on where you are and what you pay with, your bank or card issuer may apply a currency conversion or a foreign transaction fee, and any applicable tax is shown at checkout. Those are between you and your payment provider.
Half Season Pass
From 1 January 2027, once the season passes its halfway point, the Full Season Pass is replaced by a cheaper Half Season Pass — so nobody joining later pays for gameweeks already played.
- It is also a one-time purchase, and it also does not renew.
- It runs to the same end-of-season date as the Full Season Pass.
- Its price is always shown on the pricing page and at checkout before you pay. Only one pass is on sale at a time.
We may change what is on sale and what it costs, and which features belong to Pro. The price you see at checkout is the price you authorise, and a later change never charges you again or alters a pass you have already bought.
Paying
Payments are processed by Stripe on its own hosted checkout page. You need to give Stripe accurate payment and billing details, and you need to be entitled to use the payment method. FPLMan never receives or stores your full card details.
Pro access opens as soon as Stripe accepts your payment. Some payment methods settle a few days after they are accepted; we open access straight away rather than making you wait, on the understanding that it can be taken back if the money never arrives.
Access can be withheld or removed when:
- a payment fails to settle after being accepted — the pass that payment bought is removed automatically;
- a payment is refunded in full — the pass it bought is removed automatically;
- a payment is disputed or charged back — the pass is removed automatically while the dispute runs, and restored if the dispute is resolved in our favour;
- a payment turns out to be fraudulent or unauthorised.
A partial refund does not remove your access. If we ever need to remove access by hand for any other reason, we will tell you why.
If you pay twice for the same thing, or pay for a season that has already finished, the duplicate payment is refunded automatically — you do not need to ask.
Cancelling
There is no subscription to cancel. A Season Pass is a single payment: it unlocks Pro until its stated end date and then stops. You will not be charged again automatically, and no action is needed from you at any point.
Separately from any pass, you can delete your account whenever you like from your settings page. Deleting the account gives up whatever is left of a pass you hold, and deleting is not the same as asking for a refund — for that, see below.
Refunds
Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If you believe you were charged incorrectly, made an accidental or duplicate purchase, or experienced a significant problem accessing Pro features, please contact us at support@fplman.com.
Things we will take into account include:
- an accidental or duplicate purchase;
- a charge that was incorrect;
- a payment that succeeded but did not give you Pro access;
- a technical problem serious enough that you could not meaningfully use the Pro features you paid for;
- any other exceptional circumstance — tell us what happened.
Sending a request does not mean it will be approved; we look at each one on its facts. Equally, we make no blanket claim that a purchase cannot be refunded — there is no such rule here, only a judgement on what happened.
If a refund is approved, it is issued through Stripe to the original payment method where possible. How long it takes to appear depends on Stripe, the payment provider and your bank or card issuer, not on us. A refund in full ends the Pro access it paid for.
This is FPLMan's own discretionary policy. It is in addition to your legal rights, and does not limit them — see the next section.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer law, and where they conflict, the law wins.
If you are a consumer in the EEA, the UK or Norway, you generally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a contract made online. For digital content and digital services supplied immediately, that right can be lost — but only if you expressly asked for immediate access and acknowledged that you would lose the right by doing so. FPLMan does not currently ask you for that acknowledgment at checkout, so we do not treat your withdrawal right as given up. If you want to withdraw within 14 days of buying a pass, email support@fplman.com and say so.
You may also have statutory rights if the service is not as described or not of satisfactory quality. Those apply regardless of the discretionary refund policy above.
Your account
You agree to:
- give accurate account information, and keep your email address current so we can reach you;
- keep your password to yourself and your account secure;
- take responsibility for what happens under your account;
- tell us at support@fplman.com if you think someone else has got into it.
One person, one account. Creating extra accounts to collect the free gameweeks again is not allowed, and neither is sharing, selling or reselling Pro access — a pass is for the account that bought it.
Acceptable use
Please do not:
- break the law, or use FPLMan for anything unlawful;
- try to access accounts, data or systems that are not yours;
- disrupt or interfere with the service, or try to break it;
- work around the Free and Pro boundaries, or any other access control;
- abuse the free-gameweek offer, for instance with throwaway accounts or addresses;
- share paid access with people outside your household;
- scrape or automate the site in a way that loads or damages it — if you want data, ask;
- reverse engineer the service, except where the law expressly gives you that right;
- upload or distribute malware or harmful content through it;
- misuse the email or support systems, including for spam or abuse.
Third-party data and services
FPLMan depends on other people's services: Fantasy Premier League for all football and squad data, Google for sign-in, Stripe for payments, and providers for hosting, email and infrastructure, plus public podcast and news sources for the sentiment features.
Those services can change their rules, their interfaces or their data, can go down, and can stop being available to us — none of which is within our control. When that happens a feature may be delayed, degraded or removed.
FPLMan is an independent product and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Premier League or Fantasy Premier League.
Who owns what
The FPLMan name and branding, the site's design, the software behind it, our own written content and the way the generated summaries and projections are produced and presented belong to FPLMan. You may use all of it to manage your own FPL team; you may not copy, redistribute or build a competing product out of it.
Plenty of what you see on FPLMan is not ours, and we claim nothing over it: Premier League and Fantasy Premier League names and branding, club badges and colours, player images, official statistics, podcast content and news content all remain the property of their respective owners. Those names and trademarks appear here descriptively, to tell you which club or which player is which.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep FPLMan up and current, but it is run by one person and it will occasionally be unavailable — for maintenance, for a deploy, because the host had a problem, or because a data feed we depend on failed. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Features may be added, changed, restricted or removed as the product develops. If we make a change that materially reduces what a pass you have already paid for gives you, we will handle it reasonably — by restoring it, by offering something equivalent, or by refunding the unused part of the pass. We will not simply take away paid functionality and leave you with nothing.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account for serious abuse, fraud, a security threat, deliberate circumvention of access controls, or a material breach of these terms. Where circumstances allow, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put it right; where the risk is immediate, we may act first and explain afterwards.
A pass simply reaching its end date is not a suspension — that is the pass working as described.
If we close an account that holds a paid pass, we will decide what happens to the remaining access on the facts of the case, and tell you what we decided. If the closure was our mistake, you get your access back or your money back.
You can close your own account at any time from your settings page.
Warranties and liability
FPLMan is provided as it is. Beyond what these terms say and what the law requires, we do not promise that the service will meet your particular needs, that it will be uninterrupted, or that the information on it will be accurate or complete.
We are not liable for losses that are not a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms, and we are not liable for your FPL results — points, rank, mini-league position or anything else that follows from a decision you made.
We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, and any liability that cannot be excluded under the consumer law that applies to you. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by anything in this section.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Norwegian law, and Norwegian courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EEA or the UK, that does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, or of your right to bring proceedings there.
Before anything formal, please just email us at support@fplman.com. Almost everything — a wrong charge, a pass that did not open, a feature that stopped working — is quicker to fix directly, and we would rather fix it than argue about it.
If we cannot resolve it between us, you may be able to take the matter to a consumer dispute body in your country, and you keep the right to go to court.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product and the law change. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top.
For a material change we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use FPLMan after that date means you accept the new version, where the law allows a change to be accepted that way.
A pass you have already bought stays governed by the terms that applied when you bought it. We will not use an update to reduce what a completed purchase gave you.
