Compare players with clearer stats and gameweek results
Compare players now lines up both players' numbers, with shirts beside their names and more season statistics to explore. Current-gameweek results show points, minutes and returns when available, with clear labels for provisional scores and fixtures still to come.
A clearer view of two transfer candidates
Compare players keeps matching statistics together, so you can read across from one player to the other. Club shirts beside the names make each player easier to recognise. Both players stay alongside each other on a phone.
The overview brings together price, form, season points, ownership, projected points and expected minutes. Differences highlight a lower price or higher points where both numbers are available. Ownership gives context for your decision; a more popular player is not automatically the better choice.
Look beyond the headline numbers
Expand the season statistics to compare points per match, minutes, starts, goals, assists and bonus. Expected goals and expected assists give another view of the chances a player receives and creates.
For example, start with two forwards at a similar price. Compare their season returns and minutes, then check the upcoming opponents, Home or Away labels and fixture difficulty. The fixture rows cover the same gameweeks for both players, including double gameweeks.
Keep track after a player has played
Current-gameweek returns stay visible after a player's match once results are available. Actual points, minutes played, goals, assists and bonus appear separately from projected points. Match labels help you see whether a double gameweek still has a fixture to come.
Results can be provisional while FPL checks them, and bonus points or other returns may change. Missing results stay marked as unavailable. The update time shows when the displayed results were fetched, and a notice warns when they have fallen behind. Refresh the comparison to load the latest available figures.
Check the gameweek label above each section. Both players' forecasts describe the same named gameweek, and forecasts are unavailable once a club's round has started. Season totals follow the regular player-stat updates and may take longer to include the latest match.
Start your comparison
Open Compare players from Research, or choose Compare from a player's page. Search for each player by name or club, then select Compare players. Use Swap players to exchange the two choices before comparing again.
